A drug abuse prevention awareness program for students was held at Sri Vidya Engineering College in Virudhunagar. The College Principal, Dr. P. Venkumar, delivered the welcome address and spoke about the importance of awareness regarding drug abuse. Mrs. K. Amaravathi, Inspector of Police (Prohibition Enforcement Wing), participated as the special guest and explained the adverse effects of drug use. Subsequently, Mr. R. Dharmaraj, the College CEO, addressed the gathering on the prevention of drug abuse. Mr. Thiruvengada Ramanujadas, the Chairman, graced the occasion by delivering a felicitation address; college students, heads of departments, and professors participated in the event.
