The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in 2008 with the vision of developing the department as a Centre of Excellence in R & D, in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and make the students blossom into meritorious and self-disciplined engineers.
Our mission is to develop innovative and simple instructional material to drive the concepts into the minds of students and infuse scientific temper in the learners and guide them towards research in communication engineering. Also to grow a committed group of competent teachers striving for excellence, be it in teaching or research and to develop Collaborative Research and Development linkages with leading organizations in India and abroad.
The Department has been moving forward in achieving academic excellence with a strong commitment and dedicated approach, by clearly setting up of a vision of its own. The initiatives taken have already started yielding excellent results, in terms of research funding and other developmental activities thus keeping us in the path of excellence.
The First year Core Curriculum begins with a common knowledge base and customizes Students by grounding in basic Engineering Foundation and in Critical Hands-on Skills in Engineering Practices. The Course has access to enhance the Learning, Student Perspective and Experience to develop Specialization in areas of 'Electronics and Communication Engineering'. Class room learning is complemented by practical in Hi-Tech Labs, Projects and Hands on Experiences, so as to foster Knowledge in 'Engineering and Technology.
The Department strives to develop long Term relationships with Industries and market the student's talents effectively. The students are thus provided high level 'Leads and Pathways' that enable them to gain access to a broad range of 'high potential' and 'hi-tech' Career Opportunities. The Department has made a name for itself, among the Top few Colleges, at the University level, through Seminars, Symposia, Workshops, and Conferences and also through its performance in the Examinations and Placement.

Electronics has entered into every corner of Human life, be it Education, Health care, Automation, Manufacturing, Entertainment, just to name a few. The Electronics Engineers have made the human life most comfortable. On the other hand, "Communication has minimized the whole World into a Global Village". Electronics and Communications together have made the Information available virtually anywhere and everywhere on this Earth.
The ECE department provides in-depth knowledge to the students about basic PRINCIPLES OF ELECTRONICS, COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS, ELECTRONIC IMPLEMENTATION, CIRCUITS, NETWORKS, MULTIMEDIA, PROGRAMMING OF MICROPROCESSOR & MICROCONTROLLER, VLSI and DIGITAL SYSTEM DESIGN etc.
The department admires technology development through innovations and its exploitation for the benefit of human kind. Department offers quality education through the use of modern reaching aids technique and to undertake research in engineering and technology.
Students are also encouraged to attend conferences, seminars, short-term programs, workshop, symposia, In plant Training, Industrial Visit etc. We will try our best to maximize student participation in the department and will keep the administration transparent. The main focus is to make the students blossom into meritorious and " Self-disciplined engineers by smart work"
